Alert - University moves to remote learning, working
In light of the novel coronavirus outbreak, all classes will continue in virtual settings for the rest of the semester, including finals, and commencement has been postponed. All students are strongly encouraged to return to their permanent residences, and employees are encouraged to work remotely when possible. It is now well-recognized that changes in metabolic events underlie the pathogenesis of many diseases including diabetes, obesity, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) as well as cardiovascular diseases such as atherosclerosis. The research mission of this program is to develop a better understanding of the molecular and metabolic changes that lead to diseases such as diabetes, obesity, IBD and atherosclerosis.
